Chilkoot River is nestled in the mountain ranges of Southeast Alaska. Chilkoot River and Chilkoot Lake are located near Lutak Inlet, just 8 miles outside of Haines, Alaska, and minutes from the ferry terminal. The river is home to many bears, eagles, and other wildlife.
Please be responsible in bear viewing. Please do not leave food, fish, or other tempting items outside that would attract bears to you and your belongings.
